Become A Sponsor

Sponsorship is the heart of the M’Yad L’Yad - Long Island's Helping Hands program of anonymous charitable support. Sponsors are matched directly with needy individuals or families. Our Sponsors send packages to their Recipients at least four times a year in order to assist them with needs that they are unable to meet, and to generally enhance their lives. In line with one of Judaism’s highest principals of anonymous giving, and to preserve the dignity and privacy of all, we maintain a policy of anonymity between Sponsors and Recipients. However, our Sponsors know that their giving is supporting a specific local family, and they know that the items they send are what will most benefit the Recipient.
