Mission Statement
M’Yad L’Yad-Helping Hands is dedicated to enhancing the lives of the needy in our community. The anonymous pairing of volunteer sponsors with recipients encourages ongoing relationships and provides friendship and dignity, as well as material support.

Our Program
M’Yad L’Yad-Helping Hands makes it possible to give in a way that is personal, yet always anonymous. We match volunteer sponsors with needy recipients, asking sponsors to send packages to their recipients four times per year in order to enhance their lives. Sponsors might send toys, clothing, gift cards, school supplies, or other items that are best suited to their recipient’s individual needs. We are a local organization, supporting families on Long Island.
